I wanna say a lot of things about me, but that might bore you. So I am gonna start with my hobbies. I have been into fishkeeping for already a decade. I have eight freshwater aquariums (four are nanos) and three small ponds (containers only, not the actual "pond"). Last year, I started aquascaping, inspired by the Walstad and FatherFish methods. I also love gardening. Currently, I am building my tropical garden. But don't expect much because the palm trees are just less than one foot tall. Anyway, this project is actually a lifetime goal, and I wanna keep doing it until I retire.

I love period movies and series. I am interested in history. And I wanna be part of an NGO that works for the environment such as reforestation.

It has been 15 years since I wanted to have my own blog. I established a few in the past but was unable to maintain them. Also, my writing skills before were so-so. I built some websites in recent years but due to lack of time and dedication, the web hosting plans and domain names just expired. I think this year (2026) is my year. I really wanna pursue this project of mine.

I already wrote stories before. I still want to, but writing fiction will just occupy all my emotion and attention. So I hope that by writing on my blog, I can fulfill my thirst for writing. But don't expect much, I am not a good writer. I just want to write (and talk). The boy has an opinion on every topic. Lol

As I mentioned, my name is Nelson. So nlzOne is a wordplay for my name. It's like my zone. My place. I started using it in 2008. I remember my tagline before: Created for everyone! Cringey. So I am thinking of a new tagline. Let's find out in the coming days (or months).

I hope I can write at least one blog post every week. Aside from maintaining this blog, I want to create online tools that will help users with simple tasks such as compressing images or generating a strong password. Hopefully, I can start building them soon.
